Manifesto is finally, after two whole years, stitched, framed, and hanging on the wall! What an intense project this has been, but I have loved every minute of it.
I was lucky enough to find the beautiful frame way back when I first began stitching this at an antique store for $5.00. I think it is perfect.
Sorry about the chandelier reflection. There is so much detail, here are a few closeups.
And this is what I believe to have been the inspiration piece for The Scarlet Letter to create this pattern. An 18th century needlework piece, I believe it sold at auction for close to $100,000.
It may be awhile before I attempt another large project such as this :)
