Back from the framer ...Finally!

I finally managed to get down to pick up my samplers from  a lady that I know who frames with antique/vintage frames.  These have been ready since late last fall, but from Thanksgiving on we have had nothing but snow and ice!  I don't drive in snow...

Here is M. Quertier, 1799.  Since it was only black, I splurged on silk.

The other is Anne Maria Clarke.  This was an online class piece from Margriet Hogue of The Essamplaire.  Also done in silk.  The original sampler had part of the verse missing, and that bothered me, so I research Lafayette's visit to America and chose quotes used in his speeches and speeches about him to fill in the missing verse.  I love how it turned out, and love the frame!
