Greetings, all,
I am pleased that I have finished the Scarlet Letter Christmas Sampler that I was stitching along with Nicola's http://scarletletteryear.blogspot.com/
As you can see from the date, I actually finished it at the beginning of March, but I have been under the weather with a nasty stomach bug. I really love this sampler, have wanted to do it for some time, and finally did it!! Quite a few of you have inquired about this oop chart. I have good news, Marsha of Scarlet Letter has decided to bring it back!!
I do have an old frame for this, but I need to clean it up a bit. I have begun on Manifesto, but no pictures as of yet. In addition to Manifesto, I also need to work on a smaller sampler for quick gratification, but have not chosen one yet.
Have a lovely weekend!!! Is it spring there yet?
Hugs,
Melinda
Congratulations it's a stunning sampler. I'm so glad it's back in print. Here in NZ it's supposed to be autumn but summer is not letting go and most of the country is now officially declared in drought!
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda,
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and just have to tell you how much I love it. All your samplers are beautiful and your Christmas Sampler just took my breath away.I saw it first on Nicola's Sczrlet Letter Year and that is how I found you. I hope you are feeling better.
Congratulations on such a wonderful finish. The colors are so wonderful. I have had this chart in my stash for years, but the stitches rather scared me. I think that I will definitely have to do it now. Yours is just stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful sampler and such a lot of stitches! Well done you for finishing it! I don't know if I'd have the patience!
ReplyDeleteSpring is taking it's time here.
Best wishes
Christine
Hello Melinda, love the sampler, wonderful job you did.....so so pretty, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteThe sampler is beyond beautiful but no way would I have either the eye sight nor the patience to do it. That is definitely an heirloom to be passed on.

I hope you are finally feeling better. No fun being sick.
We have had spring a grand total on one day. That groundhog lied to us. Snow is in the forecast for tonight but the good news is it won't last.
Hugs :)
